Shorts and I have a love/hate relationship. These however, seem to be just the right length, and with their high waist band, you can rock a crop without feeling naked. I love the sweet added detail from the embroidery, and that they are a light neutral color that makes pairing white or a fun color as easy breezy as the shorts themselves. Of course now that I’ve gotten these up, they are sold out, BUT! I urge you to go to the actual Nordstrom store because I have spotted a few pairs here and there on the “final few” racks. While you’re there, go try on these Maddy mules. So simple to slide on, and can we say CUTE? The best thing about this outfit as a whole? Nothing is tight fitting, making it suitable for the warmer weather here in Texas. The ruffle trend is still going strong, change it up and try them on shorts instead of a top! It makes for a frilly surprise that gives more of a skirt look but provides ease for that summer breeze! Have you picked up on the fact I love rhymes and alliteration yet?
